The 2nd TV series for Full Metal Alchemist was telecasted last Sunday at 5pm(Japanese time) and is scheduled to air for a year (50+ episodes again?). However, this time its title is called 'Full Metal Alchemist - Brotherhood'. For those who is wondering how they’re going to continue the story due to the events of the movie (Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa), sources say that this remake TV Series will be a faithful adaption from the manga series. For those that do not know, the 1st Full Metal Alchemist anime story is not exactly the same with the manga counterpart (roughly around midway through the series it branches out if I’m not mistaken). Therefore, this new remake series will not be a continuation from the movie, but instead a re-telling of the story from the manga point of view. Plus, its 1st opening theme will be called "again" by YUI and its 1st ending theme will be called "嘘 - Uso (Lie)" by SID. More info can be found at its Official Website.
